The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Psalm 118:14 ESV

This week I’ve chosen this beautiful verse in honor of a dear friend of mine. I’ve watched as the Lord has walked her through an immensely difficult season of loss. As she’s walked through a loss unimaginable to most, she’s clung to the Lord, drawing ever nearer to Him in her grief. As weeks and months have passed, I’ve watch the Lord strengthen her, putting a new song in her mouth – a song of her Lord and Savior, singing anew of His glory and goodness. Indeed, HE has been her strength, her song, and the God of her salvation, as she walks each day depending on His sustaining strength. It’s beautiful to see, as she sings her song of the Lord’s faithfulness in the presence of many, the ways her song is bearing fruit in the lives of others in our community, even in my own heart. Praise be to God, who alone can bring beauty from ashes!

Maybe today, dear friend, your own heart is hurting. Maybe your feeling crushed under the weight of your circumstances, confused in facing life’s many decisions, or isolated from family and friends. Take heart, dear one! The Lord is YOUR strength and song, and He alone is your salvation! Run to Him, sweet sister. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Enjoy! As always, we’d love if you share the word so all your friends can enjoy these fun freebies! Have a wonderful week, friends!

Grace + Peace,
